This worldview focuses on project activities funded by donor organizations. The Support unit for International Fisheries and Aquatic Research (SIFAR) is working both with donors and developing countries to help regenerate the impact of research. Much research is focussed around specific projects or programmes and one of the primary objectives in the development of oneFish has been to regenerate the FAO Project Information System (FIPIS) in order to provide a unique integrated online global repository of fisheries and aquatic research and development projects.
